Has a nice fragrance of dark cherry and jam.
Drinks well and is fruit forward with flavors of dark cherries, jam and spice. Given time to breathe, it finishes smoothly!

Aug 22nd, 2022Had it couple weeks ago at a friend’s house and it felt closed and watered down, not exactly the type of wine Prisoner would make, so I opened my own.
If tasted blind, I would think this is a Garnacha, given its medium to full body. The 5% Syrah in this bottling is uncommon, possibly contributing to the subtle gamey and peppery notes? Darker fruits on the nose. Round acidity. Candied strawberry on the finish.
Really nice.
