First bottle of The Paring. Great aroma, Rich color, big fruity taste. Kim's big brown knife wielding beaver in the background. That's why I'm scared all the time !!

Deep purple in color, strong tannins. Definitely needs to open up. Finishes with mulberry and subtle spice.

From this pedigree of Screaming Eagle...the owners have something really nice with this Rhone style blend.

Getting better with each bottle. More complexity and depth of flavor, deep color, dark berries, lightly hinting of mint on the finish, very interesting and tasty.

Bought through Last Bottle Wines. They did not oversell this extremely well crafted wine. Decant & let sit for 2-4 hours. It bursts with flavor & spice but is well balanced & not as heavy as one would anticipate. Ready to consume with stews & tomato sauce based dishes! Perfect name for such combinations! Enjoy!
