Big bold and dark. The younger cousin to Harlan and Bond it stands up to some big expectations. The nose is wrapped around a core of red fruit and brambly spices. In the mouth it's dense and lush but showing its youth! Still very drinkable, the fine grained and soft tannins will age this wine for at least 10 years. Shows hints of leather and cocoa with a touch of black pepper on the finish!

Super lush, dark fruit, concentrated, firm tannin structure. Decant for 2 hours, if possible. #themascot

Holy cow, this was so good. I hesitated opening it- thought it should lay down longer, but it was just about perfect. My mascot doesn’t look so tough wearing his Christmas sweater.

The 2012 is generous and welcoming in its youth. Patience Daniel-San it promises deeper layers as the years pass.

Very nice structured Cabernet from the Harlan and Bond family. Would definitely buy it again.

Very enjoyable Cabernet from a top producer. Wanted to keep it for a few years but heard the dog barking and decided to let him out. Great aromas out of the bottle with blueberry, blackberry and sweet violets and lavender plus a distinct bubblegum essence. Tastes great after thirty minutes, very complex and a little savoury with blackcurrant, coffee and pepper. After 90 minutes it has developed lots of sweeter fruit and a collection of spices and is less dry on the palate. A top quality wine which is highly recommended. Rating is as of now but I have no doubt that this is a 9.7+ in a couple of years
