Young vines of the Harlan Estate. I was intrigued by this wine. Deep concentration of violets and explosion of flower vibes. I found the lilac and deep blue fruit to be striking on the palate and leans more “Bordeaux’ish” and reminds me of a sexy merlot. Sinus clearing on the mid palate with laser focus. Mouth coating finish, shows black pepper and mocha.

Super lush, dark fruit, concentrated, firm tannin structure. Decant for 2 hours, if possible. #themascot

Big bold and dark. The younger cousin to Harlan and Bond it stands up to some big expectations. The nose is wrapped around a core of red fruit and brambly spices. In the mouth it's dense and lush but showing its youth! Still very drinkable, the fine grained and soft tannins will age this wine for at least 10 years. Shows hints of leather and cocoa with a touch of black pepper on the finish!
