The Lake House Denmark
He Said She Said Shiraz Cabernet
We picked this bottle of He Said She Said Lake House 2014 Shiraz Cabernet up when we were down south recently. The He Said She Said range are fun, easy drinking and fruit forward wines. We bought it for about $20 and it went down a treat!
This one is a dark red/purple colour on the eye with a lovely spicy, chocolate liquorice and berry-filled nose on it. It's super approachable on the palate with plenty of juiciness and hints of black and red fruits alongside coffee beans and a nip of mint. The perfect Sunday night BBQ red wine!
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes

picked this up at the Sail and Anchor bottle shop for around $20 and I won't lie, we were pretty much drawn in by the artwork and quirky blurb on the back, "He said "Decadent aromas of blackcurrants, licorice and spice mingle with notes of rich black coffee." She said "Mouth-watering flavours of blackberry and plum are layered with a soft mocha mid palate to create a smooth, velvety texture with a long, toasty finish." Both said "Enjoy now, or cellar for up to five years"."
Was delicious - fruity and still complex enough for my enjoyment.
