Jan 3rd, 2021Blackberry, cedar, oak, cranberry, and rhubarb with clove and cinnamon spices. The finish is mild on the tannins but with acid in spades. Still a little tightly wound without decanting, but a well balanced, medium bodied cab.

Deep maroon in color. Black cherry, cassis, cocoa powder, cedar, and gravel on the nose. Juicy dark fruit on the palate with ripe, fine grained tannins, 14.1% alcohol, and good length. Sourced from multiple Napa Valley vineyards including Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper in Oakville. This is drinking well right now and is a very nice showing for the less than stellar ‘11 vintage. $100.
