Deep yellow in color with a light golden hue.
Nose of citrus, oak, apples, metals and white pepper.
Full bodied with medium acidity and tad buttery.
Dry on the palate with lemons, oak, citrus, green apples, grapefruits, light vegetables, smoke, almonds and spices.
Medium minus on the finish with bitter almonds.
This is a simple California Chardonnay, it is very drinkable, though. Oaky, but not too buttery with a soft mouthfeel.
Nicer when nicely chilled. I'm not sure how I got flavors of oak in it, since this is supposed to be an Unoaked Chardonnay...
