Monterey Chardonnay

Traditional Californian Chardonnay.

Heavy oak

Round. Freshly cut wood. Stone fruit pit. Hint of plastic. Astringency. Stressful day- waiting to unclench jaw and wine to open up a bit given value price point. Pairs well with fire and dog. Knowing dinner is on the stove.

Not for us at all. Classic Chardonnay so already I was not likely to enjoy it. Super buttery, not pleasant mid-palate.
