I've enjoyed many Oregon pinot noirs. This was not one. Very acidic.

This was gifted to us as a part of a large gift basket. Oregon Pinot, so we figured we'd give it a try. Look, you're not expecting the world with a $13 bottle, but for what it is, it worked well, probably due to it being paired with food. Bright red juice. Smells of cherries and rose petals, and the herbs and spices are very faint.

Simpler than the Trousseau but at least it's not tainted.

This is an Oregon Pinot Noir in that it's from McMinnville, according to the label. But Oregon is a big state, and McMinnville is a long way from the Umpqua Valley, and so is the quality of this wine. It's just so-so. In this case, maybe Dorothy was right: "There's no place like home!"

Sheer deep cherry color. Smells like stone and acetone. Light bodied. Tastes like tart cranberries and earth.
