Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Huh. Liked this much more than the single vineyard stuff I've tasted from them - much more restrained and focused on the whole package, rather than just the fruit. Wasn't expecting that.

My go-to grocery store Pinot

Very bland. Tasted like iron-flavored water.

Dark Ruby in the glass. Ripe cherry, cola, mint, clay and in roasted coffee bean on the finish. Just a little hot, noticeable on the nose and palate.

Neutral flavor that held up to lamb chops and to fettuccine Alfredo with scallops. Easy to drink

Great represenrstion of Oregon Pinot Noir, new world with old world profile. Nice acid, bramble and cherries. Savoury palate. Slowly developing into a pretty complex wine 🍷

Serviceable but typical Willamette Valley Pinot. Maybe needs a few more years in the bottle.

Pleasantly surprised at this one. I was getting a little mushroom and cigar box when I smelled it, and the juicy cherry explosion I was expecting was held at bay.

smells of plastic, earth, wood, cherries... tastes of wood and acid... unbalanced. :(
