Soft, juicy, and a bit lighter than expected on the palate with sweet flavors of plum and spice cake. It’s made by Argentinean wine maker Santiago Achaval of Achaval-Ferrer from 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Malbec sourced from old vines in Old Bailey Vineyard in west Paso Robles and then aged in new French oak 27 months. 13.1% ABV. $90.
