2011 was a tough year here, but this is still a solid, meaty/earthy Syrah with interesting floral notes. Blueberry and white pepper also Grace the palette. Needs A LOT of air. :)

Great everyday Syrah! Paired well with empanadas, pork, arancini. Red fruit forward, acidic, berry on the nose.

Dark, sappy, lots of plum and blackberries. Some pretty hefty tannins. Food wine; little tough on its own.

Jan 20th, 2019World Of Wines 10/29/16. Not as good as the Purple Haze but very drinkable, with strong plum and red berry notes and a soft finish.
