15’ Disciples Zinfandel Blend.
Must confess I’m not a Zinfandel drinker. Certainly don’t mind a glass every now and then. Especially this time of year. My better half and I had a glass apiece & gave the rest of the bottle to the wait staff. I’m certain they’re enjoying it.
Color- Black... no- Dark Garnet, bingo!
Loads of raspberry, ripe strawberries, two packs for a dollar black licorice, pile on the spices, smooth integrated tannins. What’s not to like! Pull the cork & enjoy. Cheers!

After reading some of the reviews, we decanted for an hour...all the difference in the world! High alcohol 15.7%! After the hour, the velvet complexity came out. Blackberry and ripe plum. Give it some time, and it will pay back!

Crane Assembly centered around a unique 8-acre vineyard located in St. Helena & believed that George Beldon Crane, or simply G.B. Crane, first established grapes on this site in 1885. A blend of 76% Zinfandel, 13% Charbono, 6% Grenache and 5% Petite Sirah, aromas of fruit and sweet spice. On the palate jammy plum flavors with tons of complex spice and oak. Full rich tannins, great mouthfeel, lingering ending with pepper cigar box spice. Very nice!

Very interesting red blend from The Crane Assembly. Medium purplish red. Tight on the nose with anise, a touch savory and a little of cocoa. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. Fuller attack with a lighter finish. Very dark attack with cocoa, bramble berries and a little jammy. Long and herbal finish. Drink till 2024.

Meh, okay, but much too high alc, ultra-jammy in style for my liking. Glycerol and prunes.
