After reading some of the reviews, we decanted for an hour...all the difference in the world! High alcohol 15.7%! After the hour, the velvet complexity came out. Blackberry and ripe plum. Give it some time, and it will pay back!

Apr 12th, 201916.5/20 (90/100) Немного светлое для купажа на основе зинфанделя. Аромат напоминает вишнево-банановую жевательную резинку, спелый ананас, малину и ваниль. Довольно высокая кислотность и интенсивные танины. Странное, но симпатичное вино.

I don’t have access to a decanter so popping the cork and letting it sit for an hour is the best I can do. As such, putting my nose in the glass is like getting a potent whiff of steaming asphalt in the hot Texas sun. On the palate brambly fruit, fig cake, chewed cigar, and underripe plum. Eager to see how this is on day two as I like the direction it’s heading.

76% Zinfandel, 13% Charbono, 6% Grenache and 5% Petite Syrah. Beautiful aromas and flavors of cooked strawberry, plums, baking spices, vanilla and licorice. Soft and integrated tannins. A bit of chocolate on the finish. Plush and full but very well balanced. Excellent! Revisited in February 2022. This bottle was a bit more floral (violets) on the nose. Still excellent!
