Out of control. Halfway between a dry red and a port. Black raspberry pie filing complete with burnt crust and little melted bits on the bottom of the pan. A hedonistic wine. $100 retail.

2005 Vintage. 85% Shiraz, 10% Mouvedre & 5% Grenache from 100+ year old vines. 9 years later still a jammy monster with plenty of freshness and a ridiculously long finish. Sadly, only one more I. The cellar.

Good find as a forgotten few bottles of these in the cellar. Drinking very fine. Will be perfect with some AU beef with pepper sauce.

Happy 30th to Seagren! Mint + Jam. Yurp! Double magnum had kept the wine in great shape.

Big Aussie 2004 vintage Shiraz. Licorice is primary component with evident dark fruit. Tannins are well integrated. Very nice.

Sadly this is not available, as a wine merchant bought the lot and sold it cheaply, but it deserves recognition as a wonderful Barossa Valley
wine, full of flavour yet soft and easy to drink.
