Nice integrated tannin. Won’t hold forever but drinking great now. Cab (90%) from next door to Screaming Eagle, Merlot (10%) from ToKalon

Good showing, but overall, this lacks symmetry. Tannins are showing well, but acidity is sharp on the mid-palette (per my son). Nice sweetness and concentration. Finishes a touch vegetal, and disjointed. From magnum.
This has relaxed with air-time. Upping the rating a touch as a result.

An excellent showing! Wonderful, full notes of cassis, leather and boysenberry on the nose. Deep dark fruit on the palate. Moderate tannins that will further integrate with time. Lengthy finish. I believe no less an authority than @Cathy Corison described this cuvée as "en pointe". Enough said!
