Borgo Pass Vineyard Pinot Meunier
What should be initially noted is the beautiful color of this wine - like drinking a garnet out of a glass! At first whiff, tight on the nose with fresh, red cherries. Opens and softens to pomegranate, crushed lily, and ground white pepper. Very soft on the palate, juicy with ripen, fresh cherries, cranberries, and blood orange, with soft, sweet spice of cardamon and anise on the back end, fading way to a medium finish of sandalwood and anise. Very soft and not much in the way of tannins, but still a great accompaniment to a calzone!

From a unique coastal vineyard imaginatively named after the pass to Dracula's castle, this is still a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. Just wait for this sucker to age & show deft minerality as the fruit gains sauvage & more laser focus. But if you must drink it now, baby killing is built for festive feasts, for sure!

A bit less refined and polished than Pinot, but with some savory depth of Gamay - and this PM is a beauty. Tons of cherries and raspberry brambles, lighter yet still concentrated. Delicious. #Teutonicisthechronic

Super light, refreshing, raspberry juice in a bottle. Wow such a cool geeky wine. Nice to try this varietal in still wine version instead of in bubbles.
