Interesting new producer. Soft tannins made this very approachable. Typical Nebbiolo aromatics.

Apr 25th, 2023Lovely bouquets of cedar, balsamic and dry mushroom commingle with red cherry, ripe blackberry, peppery spices,, and hint of lilac. The palate is a bit more savory than the nose suggests. Fresh acidity and authoritative grainy tannins.
This shows better than I expected from a coop, thanks to the great 13’ vintage. Have the structure to age for another 5 years at least.

Opened nicely after about 3 hours - fruity nose, black cherry with a touch of cinnamon on the tongue, distinct but balanced lingering tannins added a leathery finish. Very pleasant.
