lovely entry level barbaresco.

no fireworks but still a pleasure to drink.

14% abv

medium body.
medium + tannins
expected high acidity

sour red 🍒, earth, dust, smoke, coffee and cacao and hinted orange peel.

medium 🎯

worked great with fried pedron peppers, smoked chicken fillet and smoked denver steak.
best pairing was with grilled lamb sweetbread.

i need more nebbiolo in my life.

Slow to open, improved after an hour. Next time I’ll decant. Wonderful fruit, tannins softened but enjoyable Nebbiolo with smoked duck and Gouda cheese and mushroom focaccia.
