Gosh this was nice. Sometimes I can find Aussie Cabernet Sauvignon a bit forced. Not with this bottle. Beautiful structure and elegance in the mouth. Just the right balance of lifting fruit and gripping tannins. Right on target for my palate. Drink now or hold for another 5 years.

Finesse, a great way to show off what Wrattonbully can produce.
Medium bodied could even be a classic in the making.
Need to hunt for the Crayeres reserve and found out what this team can really do.

Began to like this wine more and more.. Then it was gone. Closed to begin with but slowly came to life. A hit of menthol, ripe red cherry, blackcurrant, goji berry, flora lifts, aniseed and baking spice coming through too. Un assuming in the palate, sitting somewhere between medium to full bodied, but deftly structured and satisfying length.
