Surprise surprise surprise! Finger Lakes Gamay. Consider this skeptic a believer. Not quite approaching a Morgon in complexity but this wine can stand on it's own. Great effort.

What a surprise! Beautiful pale red. Nose of strawberry and spice. Definitely cold climate, but surprisingly fruit forward with balanced acidity. Everyone is probably not going to like this, but I found it quite elegant. A nice contrast to heavier West Coast domestic gamay.
