Deep Ruby color with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy cedar notes. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry, plum, leather and cacao with notes of floral spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and cedar wrapped in an earthy herb mineral spice character. Drinking well.

Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, herb spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with cacao, cedar, licorice and pepper spice. Fine tannins, still a little grippy, great balance, complex long finish ending with earthy herbs, fruit and oaky notes. Nice!

Brunello, 2010, best vintage ever, so so good. In fact this vineyard usually blends its plots into one but the year was so good Mario decided to make single vineyard bottlings from Vigna Fonte Lattaia (this bottle) and another vineyard (still sitting on that one). Complex, great backbone, balanced today and you can tell it is built to age. If you can find it do yourself a favor and clean out the bin

Please taste the 2010 brunello vintage. One of the best Sangiovese of the last 10 years.
