Tenute Sella
Casteltorto Coste della Sesia Nebbiolo Blend
Dark, rich, tar-y aromatics with good texture and tannin. Energetic almost to the point of being tart. I am thinking this bottle needs hours to fully relax.

May 3rd, 2017A surprisingly good and complex wine. I didn't have high expectations because of it being a blend, but this was definitely one of the better Piedmont wines I've experienced. Tobacco is the dominant smell and flavor, but there is lots of fruit and other interesting notes. It had the weight of Barbaresco, with bold flavors you'd expect in a Barolo. This wine has enough to be enjoyed by itself.

May 23rd, 2014Spicy & smooth. Light mouth feel and not as dry as Pinot. Great body, would be perf with Italian food
