Ripe blackberries, tar, blueberries, new leather and sugar cane on the nose. Slightly assertive tannin and acid, well integrated and very subtle bret; will age marvelously.

1997... meaty, earthy, funk opened up to some still sweet and bright cherry fruits, nice depth but light on its feet, yum!
