Delicious! Cocoa and chocolate aromas. Dark fruit with cigar tobacco, and earthy notes. 70% montepulciano and 30% merlot.

Rich , ripe, smooth red and black fruits— mixed berries lots of plums and black cherries , a little sun baked and some stewed. Anise, black tea, pepper on the finish, and a little spice and warm earth. Plush w grip on the finish. The fruit is warm end round but has lift. Wine is in a good place.
Had with pizza — maybe a smidgen bigger than ideal, but generally quite a good match.
