Nose is very quiet on this one. A grape reputedly made from a cross between the Verdicchio and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. A teeny bit of minerality and herbal notes in the nose. In the mouth it’s more Verdicchio like, with citrus pith and hard-ended minerality. Decent acids.

Not as aromatic and maderized as I’d hoped.

Grape that was a blend of Sauvignon blanc and verdicchio, created in 1936. Never had heard of it. Interesting, but loses that almond quality of verdicchio that I love so much.
