Interesting Pinot Nero(60%) - Nero D’Avola (40%) blend. A first for me. Bright ruby red color. Aromas of dried cherry and strawberry with noticeable touches of earth and forest floor (from the Pinot Nero?) Ripe red fruit flavors fill the mouth with additional notes of mushroom and pepper. Nicely balanced with crisp acidity. Long finish with velvety tannins. Muscular and soft at the same time. Nicely aged. Appreciate you sharing this one, Ron B!
