Gorgeous label. A favorite appellation. I fear that the spicy tacos wolfed down during harvest did not do right by this wine. Would love to taste this again and pay more attention.

Brownish ruby. Currants, cinnamon, cloves, dry leaves, tobacco and mocha. Lovely wine, but seems to evolve fast.
So, drink up.

After two to three hours between decanter and glass I’m left with the impression that the joy of this wine was fully delivered in the not too distant past. A fading beauty, so...Drink Up!
(Twenty-Four hours later produced an extra layer of beauty that surely propels this Sangiovese to a 9. Regardless...Drink Up!

Great balance. Clean, refreshing, fleet-flooded, yet quite a serious glass. Cherry, mint, some underbrush, laurel. Delicate, with really good tension and focus. A treat.

Very young. Dark ruby in color with a nose of cherry, herb and vanilla. Light on the flavor side. Fruits are muted, a bit earth and a lot of spice. Good food wine. Went well with italian dinner before the show in New York.
