53% merlot, 38% cabernet franc, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% petit Verdot. Dark and restrained at the outset with touch of bitter orange, anise, smoke. This is followed by a light acidity and smooth but brief finish.

Rich and luscious. Needed to open up for a while. Oaky with Cabernet notes. A little ascerbic with finish of tobacco and earthy grass.

Nice, affordable Super Tuscan. At this price, you could drink this everyday. Plum, blackberry, and tobacco. If you can find it, try it!
