What a pleasant surprise. The bouquet bursts from the glass: dark, ripe forest fruits, spice box, touch of vanilla. Soft mouth-feel. Earth and fruit. Not as powerful flavor profile but it satisfies...though not very distinctive. Tannins provide plenty of grip. This was much better than it was a couple years ago. Drink now.
