Mmm, dried/roasted herbs and mushroom on the nose that increases in intensity with air.. Also burned rubber and purple fruit, very interesting and complex. On the palate, it's supple and inviting with plummy fruit, more herbs, and a velvety finish. Blend of Sangiovese, cabernet, and merlot.

Very nice and balanced Le Volte dell' Ornellaia 2011. Aromas black cherry, mushrooms and wet forest, quite earthy. Fine tannins and goes will will hard and oily cheese.
