Earthy, tart and austere at first but gets quite a bit more generous with food and air. The high acid is definitely the hallmark of this wine from start to finish, but the fruit is pure and there’s a tremendous depth and soul to uncover that keeps you reaching for the bottle.

2018. Beautiful bottle and label. Dark red color. Initial tartness mellowed through the evening. We really enjoyed this wine with chips/salsa, seafood and even lamb barbacoa. I wanted to get a bottle for carry out!
