Bought this at the Cellar Door several years ago on the boys Rugby trip to Melbourne. A light to medium crimson with a tawny transparent appearance. A nose of fresh red fruits (cherry) with a savoury twist. Some earthy sinewy nuances. A light to medium bodied palate. On the 2nd day more savoury, more perfumed and more attractive. An excellent Pinot Noir from a good Pinot Noir district as in the Mornington Peninsula.

$54 pinot. Translucent ruby red with and orange ring. Very clear. 13% alcohol: Herbaceous sage (roast chicken stuffing) mixed with cherries. Light to medium body. Strong herbaceous flavour followed by fruit and berry notes. Light to medium tannin drying out the tip of the tongue for a laser point finish of dry herbs and tip of the tongue.

2003 Vintage - 12 years on a fabulous expression of Mornington Pinot. Better each time and still many years to go. For those who say drink Aussie Pinot within 6 years, you are missing out!
