Not as concentrated as the Amarone glass we had at lunchtime today. More savoury , very drinkable and went well with a Sicilian Pizza.....a Pizza I could not refuse!!

Solid entry-level amarone, dried black cherry nose with some tobacco and nutmeg, streamlined and harmonious on palate with good richness for the price, not much complexity however.

Bright cherries with sweetish aromas. Cherries and raspberries on the palate followed by a good deal of mineral notes with tannins and acidity that are not over the top.

š Heady powerful sweet black fruits & spiced strawberry w/ raisin, prune, herbs & cocoa tones
š Full bodied smooth, thick & sweet sticky raisin w/ dark fruits buried in there & a dryness although not tannic
šÆ Long sweet raisin & dry black fruit w/ a mocha kick & high 15% ABV burn as it oozes down
