Spring Street Yountville Chardonnay

My first Tate. Enjoying the weight and the right amount of oak. 14.2% abv appears a bit higher than previous vintages. Give it time to open / this is the 2019. With air it really unveiled a lot more complexity than at first.

Barrel ferment and aged. Partially aged in New French Oak. Nice weight and wonderful purity.

Smiling as was delicious

Quince, orange, and hazelnut, with a touch creaminess on the long finish.

Light golden color. Creamy and well balanced. Very floral on the nose with hints of lemon and wet stones. Tropical Citrus and pear fruit flavors. Oak is light (French?) and the acidity is bright. Well made.

Full bodied. Crisp, nice acidity. Lots of green-skinned white fruit and a healthy amount of lemon zest.

Balanced between oak, malo and acidity.

Took a little flexibility to get into this one... Not going to top our 'favorites' list, but we ended up fans & have more on the rack

Thanks Amy for turning me onto this winemaker! The CHAR is tasty lip smacking, lightly buttered. Going to pair with the Copper River King Salmon tonight 😛

Floral notes on nose, understated, balanced smooth flavor, would be delist with guac and chips or on its own :)
