Spring Street Cabernet Sauvignon

PnP. Drinking young. Very dark, thick red color. Medicinal tones, cedar, and dark cherries on the nose with some oak. Same on the palate. Seems higher than the 14.4 OH. Next to zero finish which is disappointing. Average Napa Cab right now and seems way overpriced at $60+.

Once again a very nice wine and really good value. Give it an hour decant and it sings. Nice ripe black, red, and hints of blue fruit. Tannins soften with the decant, acidity remains strong. Wine has a good 10 years in it but drinks really nice now with a decant. Gonna order another case for Tuesday nights.

Big fruit and strong tannins on the open. This baby needs some air time. But the structure is solid. Ripe black fruit. Nice medium+ finish.

A nice enjoyable wine and a good value. Rate does great work at Barnett and was pleased to meet and talk with him about his own label. A nice blend of Napa Cab that is fruit forward, but with a strong backbone. Blue and black fruit, oak, nice dusty tannins. Nice mid week wine that although young, drinks very well today.

Lovely Merlot! Cigar smoke and toasted oak on nose; full body, dry, smooth, complex. Loaded with black and blue fruits.

A very nice, reasonable cab. Hints of cherries. Almost sweet-smelling and fragrant. Thank you, Jeremy at Foxcroft, for being awesome...and for letting us sample some goodies like this gem... and yes those are mutually exclusive thoughts... 😜
