Tasca D'Almerita
Tenuta Regaleali Cavalllo delle Fate Grillo
Lemon meringue, lemon tart, cut grass. South mouthfeel. Medium mineral. Crisp finish but not much personality, but a strong summer wine that slip into almost any pairing.

Jun 11th, 2017Tropical fruits, citrus, stones, leesy, and spice. Cool wine with a broad and generous texture that I haven't experienced in Grillo before

May 15th, 2016My first Grillo.
Underripe peach, green apple, key lime, honeysuckle, touch of green vegetable, and hint of white flower. Medium to full body is nicely textured with bracing acidity. Long saline mineral finish. To me this is like a hybrid of Chablis and Gruner. Lovey!

Too sweet for me. Warmed to after a second glass but wasn’t what I would go back to.

Feb 6th, 2021A decent summer wine. It had nice body with flavors of baby’s breath, lemon and a hint of fresh cut green grass. Unfortunately the wine was a little flat and the flavors vanished very quick, with no mouth feel. Lacked acidity. Not much on the nose either, I got a hint of banana every now and then but that’s about it.
