Glorious stuff. Brilliant acidity, beautifully focussed. Citrus a leading theme. Lemon, mandarin, pear, nougat and a hint of grapefruit acidity on the finish. Couldn’t stop topping up my glass.

Really, really gorgeous. Coming into its own right now, oak integrating nicely and fruit fleshing out. Soft stone fruit nose with white peach through the mid palate, followed by an apple and pear tartness to finish. Some toastiness and butter, reminiscent of popcorn (says The Blushing Fox). Delicious.

(Delectable, a simple search on the Tapanappa website will give you the correct naming of this wine!) The nose on this! I spend more time sniffing than sipping. Gorgeous Piccadilly chardonnay, delightful in its youth and with a huge future ahead of it.
