Paragon Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

Enjoying Los Angeles. First time open water swim in the morning, followed by Crossfit in the afternoon. loving it!

Meh. Not my first choice.

This wine grew on me a little after sitting in the fridge for a couple of days, but initially, I didn’t care for it. It had a vinegary taste and was a little too sweet for my liking. Jared had a similar response - and he felt it evoked a bad case of dry mouth. It smells like juiced apricots - but it is tart and not smooth to drink. It inspired me to log my feelings, so I don’t buy it again in spite of its attractive price.

2014 vintage. More full bodied than expected, but still refreshing and easy-drinking. Not sweet but very fruity (pineapple, citrus rind) and a little vegetal. An easy wine to knock back on a warm evening.

This is for the Sauvignon blanc can. Lime juice, citrus zest, green apple flesh, minerality, grapefruit and some phenols. Taste is bright with some phenolic bitterness and lasting minerality. Silky soft feel up front. Tasty
