This a hot wine in flavor and fruit reflective of Sicily and the grape Nero D'avola. Nicely acidic and lovely to drink alone or with food. It's interesting to note that Tami is the name of the wine bar at which the boyfriend of winemaker Ariana Occhipinti works/ owns....So it must be made with love.

Nose is pretty eggy, sulfuric, some sour cherry on the palate. Not very long on the mouth, light, a little sour maybe?

Very nice- medium to heavy but not too heavy- medium but balanced acidity, dark fruits, some oak and low tannins.

Bacon fat and red fruit. Well done.
