Talley Vineyards
Estate Bottled Arroyo Grande Valley Chardonnay
Impressive for its steely presentation. Tilts heavily towards a French-style of chard, but straddles the divide well. Apples and pears on the nose. Bracing acidity on the mid palate. White stone fruits blend with quince. Finishes bone dry. A style that’s not for everyone, but enjoyable.

Jul 14th, 2019Very similar on the nose to the 2014 vintage that I can remember. A palate seems to be more clean cut and with spicer finish. Enjoyable.

Nov 3rd, 2018Dry enough that makes it taste more like a Sauv Blanc. Missing the roundness stone fruit, frankly threw rest of this away as potentially tanked vintage
