Taittinger
Comtes de Champagne Brut Rosé
Tasted blind, from magnum. Bright amber-tinged flamingo color. At first, an oxidative nose. But over the night, this showed notes of orange marmalade, rose water, quince, light honey and some caramel. Lots of energy in the glass still. This powered through the night and a last glass before departing showed this wine has a lot to give. Guessed 76 Dom Rose.

Jan 9th, 2015Absolutely one of the finest champagnes I have ever had. Dom or Cristal have nothing on this baby. Very bright, crisp, inviting to drink and leaves a full and sexy hint of Grapefruit on the palate.
