Yes, we are still in renovation hell, but at least the outline of our cellar is beginning to take shape 😏
This wine is knockout. The Aussies are coming back, strong. This comes off like a Napa cab. Good tannins and complimentary acid, which frame up a super example of Shiraz. At $15 per, it’s a no-brainer πŸ˜ƒ

So far Tait is a winner, fill the bold, bold, earthy shiraz fix. This one seemed better than the ball buster, will keep this producer on a short list of good value aussie shiraz.

Full-bodied, rich, powerful. A solid choice. Will be a crowd pleaser.

Really solid: impressive concentration w/out over-extraction boasted squid ink colors and copious ripe rich black fruit on the nose. Needs some time to unwind but delicious all around. With a whiff of white pepper and a hint of soil, too fruit driven for Cote Rotie but you get the lineage. Restrained tannins & alcohol, fat mid-palate & persistent length.
