Killer aromatics - whoa. Strawberry, tobacco, mushrooms, creamy leesy quality. Nice.

Very nice balance and more delicate than I was expecting. The tannins were quite supple and the alcohol felt lower than what was listed. Bright, ripe red fruit on the nose mixed with fresh soil, subtle herbaceous character, and a spicy note on the finish. This would pair with a dish that doesn’t have any overwhelmingly strong sauces or seasoning. Let this beautiful wine shine!

You can see the Beaucastel influence in all their wines, and the Paso Robles Mourvedre is no exception. Sanguine, leathery, wild berries on the nose. Gorgeous structure, medium tannins and nice acid to brighten the finish.

The Tablas Creek flagship GSM blend. It’s delicious and very highly rated. I concur. Minerals and dark fruit, and bright freshness. 94 Pts WS.

Really nice palate overall with smooth and balanced flavor development. Ripe red fruits, cigar box, dried herbs and floral. Medium body and tannins, light acidity and long finish with dark cherry note.

Delicious Rhône style blend from Paso Robles, central coast of California. Winery has partnership with #châteauneufdupape and the wine definitely reminds me of wine from that region. Amazing find from Astor Place.
