Drinking great now, but just cracked a window on its potential. This is California rhone showing at its best, still plenty of sunshine but with earth and garrigue just starting to show in this wine that will develop more in time.

The Tablas drinking chart shows that this is the most ready to go of the young Esprits. I have to agree and it really shines after a 2hr decant. Maybe already emerged from its dumb phase, but has another 10yrs in it easy.

Bright red fruit, savory notes, and hints of cocoa powder. Rhone red blends make me happy!

A nice wine, easy drinking but simply too simple. Maybe drank it too young?

Wonderful acid, dark fruit and tobacco leaves. Will be better in 5-7 years.

Underwhelming presence and spiky tannins detract from pleasant Mourvèdre fruitiness and overall drinkability. Wondering if there was some storage issues or I need more patience cuz I was really hoping for more.

Blackberry jam and vanilla. Looking forward to watching it open up and evolve in the glass.

Roasted meat nice tannins. Mourvèdre dominant. Beautiful. A little engine oil background taste. Beaucastel is alive and well!
