Tablas Creek vertical. This and the 2007 Panoplie were the winners of the night. Both drinking very well right now. Regular Beaucastel more traditional CdP style, very well done. Panoplie more rustic flavor, but still damn good.

All the right curves in all the right places. Killer with Bo Ssam.

Pretty herbal fruit, incense, licorice, wet earth and raspberry jam on the nose. Grainy tannin, with chalky minerality and raspberry on the palate. Probably needed a couple more years in bottle, but drinking beautifully. Yum!

The benchmark of Espirt is my book, layered, elegant, red berries, earth, spice.

On the nose, I get raspberries, blueberries and black pepper notes. The palate is similar with some floral notes, dark red fruits and baking spices. Very much a New World CdP.

Balanced GSM with classic Rhone body and flavors. Smooth and opulent.

Drink now. No adjectives. Softening and blending into a one dimensional wine.
