New soon to be released 2013 Tablas Creek mourvedre - stunning example young with many years in the bottle. Taut, dark cherry, meaty & earthy, great balance, 13.5%, 20 months in neutral Foudres.

Mild to heavy tannins, really nice black pepper.

Good, but hibernating, with slow long tears. Id wait another 4-6 years, to see its chocolate, dried strawberries & cranberries. 9.0 now, possibly 9.1 down the road.13.5%, medium- body, excellent wine for autumn festivities down the road. Keep holding.

Amazing. Chocolate, bright fruit, smokey & oak. Tastes expensive.

Couldn't get my arms or palate around this offering. Not sure why I need to drink 100% Mouv.

Slightly sweet, fruity. Does not go well with chocolate.

Surprisingly fresh and elegant yet with classic Mourvèdre fruit and a gamy character with air.

Soft and delicate. Not crazy about it.
