Tablas Creek VineyardThis is a stunning white showing surprisingly rich evolution: lemon and candied lemon, acacia, honeysuckle, wet stone, sage, green apple, dried apple, white peach, lime, lime zest, fennel and anise. It’s held up very well for six years, with vibrant acidity and rich, creamy texture. Very long finish

Sep 27th, 2023Lovely in its youth and a wonderful example of dry Grenache Blanc from CA. But one should not expect anything less from Tablas Creek. Soft citrus notes with white pepper which integrates nicely with the subtle herbaceous notes. Great for winter time when you want a nice bright white wine that still fills you with warmth.

Oily, floral, but a tad too lean for me, I enjoy the low ABV (13 %), nice acid, but the leanness ultimately makes it just good.

Jul 25th, 2023Far better integration than expected. Ripe pear, quince, and lemon cream pie notes. Round, weighted on the palate… with a long juicy finish. Perfect acid, fruit balance. Definitely more interesting at this stage than on release.

Jul 23rd, 2023New vintage of Grenache Blanc. Rich with good acidity, notes of citrus, green apple and toasted nuts with some minerality. Medium+ mouthfeel, zesty & tart lingering finish.

Oct 22nd, 2020Pear, lemon zest and honeysuckle aromas. Light body with silver hue, medium acidity and alcohol with full mouthfeel. The finish was quite short and disappeared in just a few seconds.
