Slightly closed when first opened but then Rose pedal, raspberries sour cherry. Great texture with just enough oak to allow the fruit to shine

A good wine - a much more elegant expression of grenache that what you might get from the Central Coast - but it’s very good. Lots of blue and black fruits, good acidity (did need to be cooled down a bit for that to come out), and a balanced finish. Easily one of the better grenaches from Napa (albeit a short list) that I’ve had.

May 12th, 2018Juicy, slightly sweet nose with notes of black fruits and just a hint of black pepper spice. Juicy and bright on the palate. Fruit forward flavors of black raspberry and plum lead to deeper notes of tar and leather with a nice touch of spice. The finish is dry with slightly dusty tannins and a bright touch of acidity.

Jan 19th, 2016Starts with red fruit, then a moderate amount of tannin shows up. Finishes with a dry, nearly cheesy quality.
