Nicely balanced, but lacks complexity. The "New California" Mourvedres seem to be more compelling and bright in the glass, the old world versions bring more funk. This lands somewhere in the middle for me - nice to drink but I won't seek out more.

Bright red fruit, wet rock, palate coating red berry/bramble/chalk dust, linear acid. Great stuff as usual by James at Syncline.

Matt Dillon seems to be the king a picking great reasonably priced wines. Plus it pays to have the best seat in the house. #irishmafia this one is a crowd pleaser - yet has some great complexity - Sinclair is becoming a good go to wine.

Unique taste. Very refined. Juicy plum, cassis and savory flavor with hints of pepper and herbs. Rich layer mouth feel and bright finish. A very surprising wine.
