Altano Douro Tinta Barroca Blend

Underripe plum skin, super spiced out from oak, sage greenishness, fenolic (?) bitterness, strawberry nose, tart cherries...almost a chalky minerality....almost.

Love it!

Solid table red.

Dark red cherry with a hint of background oak. Light body with a medium minus tannin and medium acidity. Warm climate flavors showing very strongly.

Bem honesto. Desceu redondinho.

Fruity, a little spicy. I haven't had wine from Portugal before....well that wasn't port. Horizons broadened.

Pleasant, smooth , but kind of non- descriptive.
